"my free time" - new digital information service for young people

What do you need to get one step closer to your dreams? To mark "Realize your dreams day" on Wednesday, 13 January, the Office for Social Work of the State Capital of Wiesbaden is publishing "my free time" - a digital overview of offers for children, teenagers and young people up to the age of 27.

"Trying out new things, getting to know other people and having fun. Although all of this is currently only possible to a limited extent due to the coronavirus pandemic, it actually corresponds quite naturally to the wishes of children, teenagers and young adults in our society," says Christoph Manjura, Head of Social Affairs. It is now much easier to find a suitable leisure or educational offer at www.wiesbaden.de/myfreetime. Children and young people can find the right offer for them in clearly arranged categories on topics such as "Art, Creativity", "Sport" or "Nature, Animals, Environment", on districts or dates and sorted by age and from A to Z.

The overview is also aimed at parents, guardians and professionals who support young people in organizing their free time according to their interests and talents. The idea was developed and implemented by the Office for Municipal Education Projects in the Office for Social Work in cooperation with the Stadtjugendring Wiesbaden e. V. (SJR).
