New residential areas

Kärntner-Viertel residential area

GWW Wiesbadener Wohnbaugesellschaft mbH is building the new "Kärntner-Viertel", an urban residential area with around 400 residential units for around 1,000 people, on the approximately 7.4-hectare "Gräselberg - Auf den Eichen" site. The housing association is currently building 161 rental apartments in the first and second construction phases.

A bird's eye view of the new Kärntner-Viertel residential area shows small-scale development towards the existing housing estate, followed by four- to five-storey apartment buildings in a loose arrangement, which provide noise protection towards the highway and are grouped around a central neighborhood square.

400 apartments for a wide range of lifestyles

The GWW Wiesbadener Wohnbaugesellschaft mbH project offers housing for rent and ownership for all age groups in the Biebrich district of Wiesbaden. With a green neighborhood square, a daycare center and a mobility concept that incorporates all elements of an environmentally and climate-friendly transport infrastructure. Heat is supplied via a local heating network using a biomethane cogeneration plant and two natural gas-fired peak load boilers.
