The state capital of Wiesbaden intends to build a school campus on an area of around 4 hectares in the Bierstadt-Nord area. A 4-stream integrated comprehensive school, a 2-stream elementary school, a 3-field gymnasium and outdoor facilities are to be built.

In order to create the legal planning requirements for this, the land use plan of the city of Wiesbaden will be amended and a development plan drawn up.

The city council of the state capital of Wiesbaden therefore initiated the procedure for drawing up a development plan on March 23, 2023.

Due to a technical system error during public participation in the "Bierstadt-Nord school campus" urban land-use plan, public participation is being repeated in accordance with Section 3 (2) of the German Building Code (BauGB). Comments already submitted do not have to be resubmitted.

The draft of the development plan, including the explanatory statement and what the municipality considers to be the main environmental comments already submitted, will be published on the Internet from May 2 to June 2, 2025.

Interested citizens now have the opportunity to find out about the contents of this urban land-use plan and to participate in the planning process.

During the same period, the aforementioned planning documents will also be on public display at the Wiesbaden administration building, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 15, first floor, room for public displays, during office hours (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 4 pm, Wednesdays from 8 am to 6 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 12 pm).
