Churches and religious communities
Churches and religious communities offer a spiritual home; they accompany people in everyday life and at special moments in life - such as weddings, births or deaths.
They help those in need and offer identification and orientation. Their educational programs and social facilities are aimed at members and interested citizens. In addition, churches and religious communities are an important part of social and cultural life. Religious and ideological communities that have the status of "public corporation" are listed on the website of the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
