The Kita Sauerland looks after 132 children aged 6 months to 6 years in community groups. 16 children experience, discover and learn in each community group, including 5 crèche children and 11 elementary children. 20 children aged 3-6 years are also in our kindergarten group.The pedagogical basis of our work is based on the Montessori pedagogy, which offers us a holistic educational concept that is oriented towards the child.our task is to create a prepared environment for the children that they need for their development.another focus of our work is the holistic promotion of movement.since Sep.2015 Since September 2015, we have been a certified Hessian movement kindergarten.guided and free movement activities support the physical and mental development of the children.movement is combined with nature education activities through excursions and forest weeks.special support for our children and educators has been provided since April 2011 through the federal initiative "Schwerpunkt-Kita" Sprache und Integration.our health-preserving diet is prepared fresh every day and has been awarded the FIT KID certification.our children are supported and accompanied in their transition from daycare to elementary school in cooperation with the elementary school.
