What parents can expect from this daycare center:

Bambini is a parents' initiative founded in 1991 and is located in the composers' quarter of the city of Wiesbaden in a traffic-calmed area. We have our premises in the old building of the Robert Schumann School, which is an ideal place to feel at home, play, laugh and learn thanks to its brightness, child-friendly furnishings and spaciousness. The adjoining schoolyard and the Bambini playground invite children to play outdoors. The forest, spa gardens and town center are also within easy reach. Bambini offers space for up to 63 children aged 6 months to 10 years, who are looked after in four groups (2 crèche groups of 10 children each, one kindergarten group and one after-school group). Bambini's pedagogical concept is characterized by the goal of family-supplementing and family-supporting support, in which the child is the focus. In the spirit of holistic education, we give the children the opportunity to develop their personality and independence. We see building trust and experiencing a sense of security as the basis for children's development. We support the children's curiosity and joy of experimentation to promote their cognitive abilities and create space and time in which the children can understand their world/environment with all their senses. Our parent initiative lives and develops through the commitment of the parents. The cooperation of parents is important in the organization and administration of Bambini as well as in everyday life (e.g. maintenance of the playground, cleaning and embellishment work). We attach great importance to respectful, cooperative and appreciative cooperation - therefore, in addition to electronic pre-registration, a visit to one of the four open days is required to register at Bambini (see homepage for current dates).
