• Promotion of physical activity ("Healthy and fit - we join in"). Nine municipal daycare centers have been awarded the "Hessischer Bewegungskindergarten" quality seal by the Sportbund Hessen in cooperation with the Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Sport and DAK Hessen.
• Language development ("The Magic Box - a pedagogical tool for testing the language skills of four-year-old children in kindergarten").
• Experiencing nature and the environment ("Experiencing nature with head, heart and hand").
• Science education ("Children as researchers and explorers").
• Media education ("Children and media").
• Healthy living, healthy nutrition ("Promoting health through our holistic nutrition concept"). In March 2012, the daycare centers in the state capital of Wiesbaden received the "FIT KID - Logo" certificate from the German Nutrition Society, the DGE quality standard for catering in daycare centers for children.
• Working with children under the age of three - "Moving, curious and ready to learn".
• Mathematical education
• Artistic and musical education; "Art Handbook" ("Early Musical Education")
  Education in values
• Wiesbaden recommendation "Together for the good of the child" (cooperation with parents in the daycare center, May 2009). Daycare centers should therefore be seen as places for parents to meet, talk, participate and work together.
• The effective organization of the transition to elementary school through the cooperation of the daycare centers with the elementary school is important for the individual learning biography of the children. This objective is implemented in close cooperation and with binding agreements ("Übergang von der Kindertagesstätte in die Grundschule in Wiesbaden", 2007).
