Hessian State Prize for Universal Design
The Hessian State Prize for Universal Design is awarded every two years and recognizes outstanding products, concepts and processes for innovative and inclusive ideas.
On November 19, 2024, various projects from Hesse were honored, including the following projects with a Wiesbaden connection:
- Gaming & (dis)abilities of the IFB Foundation
- Silent hour - inclusion through lack of stimuli
- Biebrich blossoms - a climate-resilient district for all / Master's degree course in Architecture, TU Darmstadt
The exhibition of the award winners is designed as a traveling exhibition. It will be on display from Monday, April 28, to Friday, May 9, in the foyer of the town hall at Schlossplatz 6.
Opening
The exhibition will be opened on Monday, April 28, at 5:30 p.m. by Lord Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende and State Secretary Manuela Strube from the Hessian Ministry of Labor, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs.
