Prize for civic courage
With the award for civic courage, the city honors living persons, institutions or associations from Wiesbaden. They have stood up for others through particularly committed behavior regardless of possible personal disadvantages.
In 2010, the city council decided to establish a "Citizen Courage Award". The prize was awarded for the first time in 2011.
The prize is endowed with prize money of 2,500 euros and is divisible.
