Sparkling wine day at Henkell Freixenet
The Henkell Freixenet Sparkling Wine Day on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. will be held under the motto "Celebrate Life". There will be a varied supporting program with exciting highlights for the whole family.
Whether for the palate, eyes or ears - the sparkling wine day appeals to all the senses. A sparkling selection of sparkling wine, cava and co. spreads a sparkling mood. If you want to enjoy a tasty snack, you are welcome at one of the trendy food trucks. Younger guests can look forward to fun and games in the childcare area, while mom and dad can try their luck at the "just-for-fun" blackjack or roulette games organized by Wiesbaden Casino. The popular THermine streetcar invites the whole family to take a spin through Wiesbaden-Biebrich, which will also make a stop at Henkell Freixenet this year.
International musicians with party rhythms
Exciting live musicians and a hip DJ ensure a full dance floor in front of the stage with a varied music program ranging from funk to rock and pop to soul. In addition to the Swedish singer Sophia, who has already appeared as a musical actress in "Cats" and on "The Voice of Germany", the exceptional talent Ray Scott, who fascinates as a singer, songwriter and performer with a wide vocal range, will also be a hit. Singer Anna, "blonde power voice with a surprise effect" and Jenny Rizzo, not only known since 2019, who was part of the TV show "The Voice of Germany" and worked with coach Mark Forster, present a rousing repertoire of funk, soul, pop and rock on champagne day.
The singers will be accompanied by a passionate saxophonist, who will perform his instrument across all genres in a spirited manner. A special musical highlight will be the artist Sophia Moser, who is one of the most sought-after violinists in Germany, has won various international prizes and has performed with show stars such as Mel C, Olli Murs, Ronan Keating, Michael Bublé and others, creating a great party atmosphere with an international mix. DJ Benko will get the dance floor shaking with modern beats.
Cellar tour and live insight
Until 5 p.m., guests can also take part in exciting guided tours of the cellar, which start in the historic Marble Hall, descend seven stories into the depths and marvel at the cellar vaults where gigantic 200,000-liter barrels are stored.
Taster sessions in the sparkling wine factory
Guests can gain a unique insight into sparkling wine production at the sparkling wine factory. During a taster tasting - 7.50 euros per person - you can get to know the variety of the seminars, during which three pearls and thus premium products are tasted. The glass cube in the basement of the winery has been specially built to offer sparkling wine lovers a suitable ambience.
