Parents' Council
Are you a parent and would like to have a say in how the school is run? Then get involved in a parents' council. You can find all the information here.
There are parents' councils at every school(school parents' councils) as well as at city level(city parents' council) or state level(state parents' council). They represent the interests of parents. In the parents' council, you can help shape and initiate changes.
For example, the organization of lessons at a school must be approved by the respective school parents' council. The council also has rights to be heard, information and initiative and can therefore provide new impetus at the school.
Representatives of the individual school parents' councils come together in the city parents' council. It represents all types of schools according to their proportion of pupils in the city. The parents' councilis involved in political committees and decisions. This allows parents to draw the attention of politicians directly to burning school issues.
