On April 30, 1954, the Board of the Stifterverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.
On the occasion of the annual general meeting of the Stifterverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft, Lord Mayor Erich Mix invited its board to a reception in the Red Salon of the Kurhaus.
Chairman Richard Merton thanked the people of Wiesbaden for their hospitality and declared that the association's annual general meetings should also be held in the spa city in the future. The leading scientists then signed the city's Golden Book.
