Prince Saef el Islam el Hassan
On April 20, 1953, the Viceroy of Yemen, Prince Saef el Islam el Hassan, signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.
On March 10, 1953, the Viceroy of Yemen, Saif el Islam el Hassan, arrived in Wiesbaden for a spa stay of several weeks. On March 16, the magistrate decided that Mayor Kluge should ask him to make an entry in the Golden Book during a private meeting.
At the end of his cure, the monarch praised Wiesbaden's water, nature and doctors, who had improved his health. On 6 Shaaban 1372 according to the Islamic calendar, Saif el Islam el Hassan signed the Golden Book in Arabic script from right to left.
After a tour of the festively decorated town hall, the delegation returned to the sanatorium in the Nero Valley before returning to Yemen a few days later.
