Congress for Psychotherapy
On August 21, 1967, the Board of the Congress for Psychotherapy signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.
With resolution number 302, the magistrate took note on February 20, 1967 that a joint reception with the Hessian state government was to take place in the town hall on Monday, August 21, 1967 at 6:30 p.m. on the occasion of the eighth International Congress for Psychotherapy.
In a letter dated 17 August, the organizing committee of the congress sent the main office seven names of high officials of international psychotherapists who were to be inscribed in the Golden Book: the Swiss president of the International Society for Medical Psychotherapy, Medard Boss, the president of the Swiss representative to the World Health Organization Pieter Baan, the Spanish president of the World Psychiatric Association Lopez Ibor, the Israeli professor of psychiatry in Jerusalem, Heinrich Winnik, as well as the German representative Kleinsorge and the American Eliasberg.
In his speech, Lord Mayor Buch expressed his delight at being able to welcome such renowned scientists and doctors to the spa town. The guests expressed their thanks for the warm welcome and praised the good organization in Wiesbaden.
