Congress of the German Postal Workers' Union
On September 27, 1965, the Executive Board of the Congress of the German Postal Workers' Union signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.
At the end of September 1965, the members of the German Postal Workers' Union met at their eighth congress in the Rhein-Main-Hallen.
On August 23, the city council approved the mayor's proposal in resolution number 1760 to allow the closer representatives and foreign representatives of this powerful trade union to make an entry in the Golden Book.
On the evening of September 27, Lord Mayor Buch welcomed his guests in the ballroom of the town hall. The head of the city paid tribute to the work of Swiss Post in general and the commitment of the trade unionists in particular. After a brief word of thanks for the friendly welcome and the excellent organization in the spa town, over 40 postal unionists from Germany, Europe and all over the world signed the city's Golden Book.
