F. H. Boucher

On June 21, 1948, the outgoing site commander Colonel F. H. Boucher signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.

At the end of his one-year period as head of the American military government in the Wiesbaden district, Colonel Boucher signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden at the request of Lord Mayor Redlhammer.

On behalf of the people of Wiesbaden, the head of the city thanked the Americans for their support during the reconstruction and their trust in the German population. Boucher reaffirmed the transatlantic friendship that had developed and declared that he would keep his time in Germany in positive memory.
