Prof. Dr. Ernst Reuter

On May 11, 1952, Prof. Dr. Ernst Reuter, the Governing Mayor of Berlin, signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.

The Governing Mayor of Berlin, Prof. Dr. Ernst Reuter, was in Wiesbaden for the 1952 May Festival. At the request of the magistrate, the professor and his wife were received in the magistrate's meeting room in the town hall on May 11.

Mayor Kluge explained that the first entry was also made by a Berliner fifty years ago with Kaiser Wilhelm. He was delighted that this prominent series would be continued in a worthy manner with the Governing Mayor.

Prof. Dr. Reuter expressed his thanks for the honourable welcome and was proud that his first entry in a Golden Book had been made in his new office in the spa town. He and his wife then signed the city's Golden Book.
