Projects of all genres that make important contributions to cultural life in Wiesbaden are supported, in particular by

• demonstrating a high artistic quality,
• pursuing innovative or experimental aesthetic approaches,
• dealing with cultural, social and political issues,
• contributing to the regional and supra-regional networking and profiling of the local cultural scene,
• address new target groups or
• contribute to intercultural openness.

Individual artistic projects as well as series of events and festivals can be funded.

There are special calls for proposals for some funding programs. Further details can be found in the individual sections/categories. There is currently no municipal funding program available from the City of Wiesbaden in the area of film.

An "application for project funding" can be submitted for all other projects. Applications are submitted online. Applicants must first register with their contact details on the application platform. During the application itself, it is possible to save the application temporarily and continue processing later. The information for the cost and financing plan to be attached to the application is also requested when the application is submitted.
