Scholarship holder 2024: Titus Grab
Titus Grab was born in Stuttgart and has lived in Wiesbaden for many years as a committed artist. His art is strongly rooted in social issues and interpersonal relationships. In addition to his artistic activities, he is the founder of the open-air gallery "Westend-Galerie" and has been a member of the cultural advisory board for the visual arts since 2022.
Grab deals intensively and in a variety of ways with the theme of "perspective" specified in the call for entries. The starting point for his artistic investigations are various areas of society. However, he also playfully encourages viewers of his art to rethink their own perspective. Questioning is an experience for Titus Grab: he uses a variety of different techniques such as graphic works and installations, which often fill the space.
