The Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden is a five-section theater with opera, ballet, drama, young state theater and concerts.

It has four stages: the Grosses Haus with 1,041 seats, the Kleines Haus with 328 seats, the Studio with 89 seats and the external venue Wartburg with 154 seats in Schwalbacher Straße.

The artistic directors since the 2024/2025 season are Beate Heine and Dorothea Hartmann.
