Several thousand objects are currently on permanent loan to various institutions, such as the State Museums in Darmstadt and Mainz, the Archaeological Museum in Frankfurt, the House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn and the local history museums in the Wiesbaden suburbs.
