Discover art on your own in the city

The pocket flyer "Art Walks" presents 33 works of art in public spaces, which you can explore on three walks.

Discover art on your own in the city

Whether in squares, parks, in front of office buildings or on building facades - nowhere else does art come closer to life and can be admired, discussed and enjoyed undisturbed. The works range from sculptures and monuments to murals and graffiti, reflecting the diversity of art in public spaces and providing artistic impetus on various themes and inviting people to get involved. For example, in the sculpture ensemble "25" by Heide Krebs-Bechtel in Nerotalpark, you can search for, find and identify trees in the park.

In this way, the Department of Culture is also paying tribute to the artists who created the artworks for the city of Wiesbaden.

Anyone interested is cordially invited to discover art on their own with the pocket flyer. The flyers are available at the Tourist Information and in municipal institutions and can be downloaded below.

If you would like to experience the tour on your cell phone or tablet, you can download the Actionbound app. The digital scavenger hunt allows you to playfully explore eleven works of art from Wiesbaden train station to the RheinMain CongressCenter to Schlossplatz by answering quiz questions - including works by internationally renowned artists such as Emilia Neumann, Benjamin Patterson and Vollrad Kutscher.

The tour lasts around two and a half hours and can also be done individually.
