Crime scenes art 2024
On Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27, it was once again colorful and inspiring in Wiesbaden-Mitte and the Rheingauviertel-Hollerborn: For the 16th year in a row, the large art tour took place, during which artists opened their studios from 12 noon to 6 pm.
"Tatorte Kunst" gave visitors the rare opportunity to get to know the artists and gain an impression of their work. There were 22 crime scenes with the works of more than 70 artists to discover in 2024.
Art is the writing of the soul and the spirit
Fine art is an intensive process, beginning with the idea and sketch, then the elaboration. The sensitive and thoughtful creation of a work is therefore the writing of the soul and the spirit. This can be experienced at first hand in the open studios: Tatorte Kunst is the creative form of communication with Wiesbaden artists. The exhibitors talk about their art, their intentions and messages.
Art for social coexistence
Guests find their "favorite studio" and get to know neighbors in the neighborhood, social networks become stronger. For example, the Ringkirche takes in artists who no longer have a studio in the neighborhood. One of them, Anna Bieler, put it like this: "For me, the art venues mean coming into contact with a large and diverse audience. Before I was given notice to leave my previous studio, interested people were able to gain an insight into the place where I work.
