Welcome to the Biebrich district library! A colorful variety of over 40,000 media awaits you on over 400 square meters and two floors. This stock can also be pre-ordered for the mobile library, as this is connected to the district library. The stock is regularly updated with the latest media. If you still can't find your favorite book, the librarians will be happy to take your reading requests.

The Biebrich district library is the first port of call when it comes to broadening horizons and offering children the chance to enjoy excitement, games and great stories. From March 2024, the Biebrich Reading Club will take place regularly in the library. Information at the service desk.

Looking for volunteer work?

We welcome volunteers for reading aloud, for games afternoons or for handicrafts. Our reading club is also run by volunteers. Only those who can read have a chance of academic and professional success. You can help with your commitment! Whether you simply read together or have someone read to you, tell stories or read through a book chapter by chapter is up to you. Of course, our librarians are always on hand with help and advice.
