Gourmet square at the weekly market
The Schlemmerplatz at Wiesbaden's weekly market offers a wide variety of culinary delights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The weekly market on the Dern site is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7 am to 2 pm.
Seating and high tables for lingering
Since April 6, 2024, the Schlemmerplatz can be found on the weekly market area in front of the Lumen staircase. The seasonal vendors that were previously located there will be positioned in the rounding between the tree-lined avenue and the market square.
In the shade of the trees, numerous seating options and bar tables will be set up in the lower area for people to enjoy and linger. In addition, there will be new umbrellas directly in front of the LUMENS staircase to provide protection from the rain and sun. The Schlemmerplatz is intended as an extension of the existing range of snacks on offer at the weekly market, which is why all other existing food stalls will remain in their established locations.
