International Oldtimer Rallye

For more than a quarter of a century the event calendar of the Hessian capital has been inconceivable without the vintage car rally, not only for fans of historical cars. The rallye for historical automobiles up to 1980 takes place from 21 to 24 may 2020.

Every year scores of motorsports enthusiasts do not want to pass up taking part in the upmarket vintage car rally. But the rally is a must not just for the drivers and their teams. Hundreds of vintage car fans avail of the opportunity to admire the automotive rarities at close hand, and flock to Wiesbaden. The action starts on the opening day in front of the Kurhaus Wiesbaden: the initial inspection of the vehicles takes place here. This is thus the first real opportunity to have a good look at the beauty of automobiles from "car times past".

The real starting signal goes off directly in front of the Kurhaus on the second day of the event. From here, the jaunt into the region around the Hessian capital starts for the antique cars and their occupants.

At the "Concours d'élégance" on the final day in the Kurpark in Wiesbaden the focus of attention is once again on the beauty of the historical vehicles when the vintage cars and youngtimers can be viewed at the oldtimer morning get-together.
