Cycling
Hessen’s state capital and the region can be explored very easily on a bicycle. Cyclists can choose from a wide variety of routes, between relaxed tours and quite challenging routes. The continually-expanding cycle path network in Wiesbaden enables safe exploration of the city on a bicycle. From here one can then continue towards the hillsides of the Taunus Woods.
Wiesbaden can be explored from the river perspective if one chooses to use Hessen’s long-distance cycle routes. For those who want to explore and experience the Rheingau actively, there is the option of a cycling tour on the Riesling Routen.
Also worthy of particular mention are the Main cycle path and the Veloroute-Rhein which leads through several European countries. The Radverkehrswegekarte (cycle path map) and the Radtourenplaner Hessen (Hessen cycle tour planner) enable tours to be planned down to the last detail, and these can also be booked as individual offers with overnight stays.

Whether you would like a short tour of the city or a longer trip, the bicycle hire station known as “The Cyclist“ has the right bicycles and accessories for the whole family.
