Entertainment events at the RMCC
Discover the RheinMain CongressCenter with a capacity of up to 9,000 people in the heart of the state capital Wiesbaden. Entertainment events and concerts find the perfect setting in the RheinMain CongressCenter in the large North Hall with an area of 4,600 m².
North Hall (4,600 m²)
Halle Nord is predestined for concerts, comedy events, science slams and other entertainment events. The 4,600 m² venue can accommodate over 5,000 people with seating. In addition to a ceiling height of 14 m, Halle Nord has an innovative and multifunctional telescopic grandstand with 3,000 tiered seats and an excellent view of the stage.
With grandstand seating and flat seating in front of it, a total of 5,020 guests can be entertained in Halle Nord. Without seating, the hall can hold almost 9,000 people. The accessible and infinitely adjustable stage podium measures 10 x 5 meters.
Numerous suspension points throughout the hall, the entrance for 40-tonne trucks as well as special channels with the most important supplies provide optimum equipment for stage construction and the necessary event technology. The hall is shaded as standard.
Central foyer (1,350 m²)
The light-flooded 1,350 m² Central Foyer provides a wow effect as the entrance to your event. The Central Foyer can be equipped with security and admission infrastructure or box office counters . Checkroom areas are available here and in the basement. The basement also has lockers.
Visitors can access the adjoining parking garage with 800 parking spaces via the central foyer. Fixed catering stations in the foyer areas allow guests to enjoy culinary delights.
VIP rooms
There are 11 boxes on the first and second floors around the North Hall, which can be used as "VIP" areas for large events. Between 25 and 130 m² are available to you. Catering can be arranged here, for example. The boxes can be opened up to the north hall like a balcony. This means that large concerts can be enjoyed in an ideal atmosphere with the best view.
Backstage area
In the backstage area, which is directly accessible from the stage area in the North Hall, there are four dressing rooms, each with a shower/WC and a communal lounge area.
Cooking in the backstage area and catering
In the RMCC behind the North Hall there is a technically equipped area for crew catering for up to 50 people, with connections for three convection ovens for heating and keeping food warm, sinks, a further water connection for a washing machine, for example, and floor drains.
Please note: According to the fire safety regulations, cooking is not permitted in the backstage area. Only convection ovens may be set up.
The convection ovens may only be set up in designated areas, as a floor drain is installed in this area to drain off any condensation. The installed fire detectors ensure effective detection of fire incidents.
Please note: If the convection ovens are in operation, it is recommended that the fire detectors are temporarily deactivated to prevent false alarms from being triggered. In such a case, the presence of personnel is mandatory until the fire detectors are reactivated.
Electrical engineering
The converted backstage area now has four network connections and three 63 A CEE high-voltage sockets, which can be used to operate three combi-steamers with an electrical connected load of around 40 kW each(120 kW in total). These can be controlled separately via a rep. switch.
In addition, two 16 A CEE high-voltage sockets, each with an output of around 10 kW(20 kW in total), were retrofitted.
For the supply of 230 V consumers, an additional 10 sockets, separately fused as a pair via 16 A, have been retrofitted, so that a further 15 kW is available here.
