For the first time this year, guests had the opportunity to explore the Rheingau Wine Week under "expert guidance" on the opening day, August 9th. During the tasting of excellent wines and sparkling wines moderated by Toni, the participants got to know six renowned Rheingau winegrowers personally at their wine stands. The tour took them through the Rheingau, its various vineyards and terroirs - from Lorch to Geisenheim, Oestrich-Winkel and Walluf all the way to Wiesbaden. The guests learned interesting facts about wine, the Rheingau, its wine traditions and the passion of the winegrowers for their work - presented by Toni in an easy-to-understand and accessible way. A special opportunity for the participants to get rid of all their questions about wine and discuss them with the experts.

The tour ended with a shared dinner of Turkish meze. The "somewhat different" tour was so well received that the participants were already asking for a repeat next year.
