Theater in the Pariser Hof
With a colorful mix of cabaret and comedy, live concerts and dance evenings, the cabaret stage offers entertainment at a high level for every generation.
As a stage for cabaret, comedy and live music, this theater has always faced challenges - and has mastered them all. It works because a very committed theater association with many volunteers lends a hand and because the theater has a loyal fan base. The size is perfect: 120 spectators fit into the beautiful hall, the ambience is cozy but not too intimate, the schedule is always good for surprises. Ingo Appelt performs here, as do jazz combos and a ventriloquist who not only makes her puppets speak, but also sing.
The striking classicist building is located less than 500 meters from the Kurhaus and housed a hotel in the 1850s - with a few unconventional extras. For example, the owner at the time had church services held in the hall of her "Pariser Hof". However, the hotel was unable to withstand the competition from Wiesbaden's grand hotels in the long term.
After 1945, publishing houses such as Insel and Brockhaus moved in - and shortly afterwards moved out again. It was not until 1986 that the theater began operating, the city of Wiesbaden joined in and had the listed building renovated. Today, the building with its floor-to-ceiling windows and bright green shutters is not only a jewel of Spiegelgasse, but also home to three good neighbors: the theater shares the building with the Chez Mamie restaurant and the Spiegelgasse Active Museum.

The association
Theater am Pariser Hof consists of a small group of theater professionals who bring the theater to life with a great deal of voluntary work and idealism in order to offer audiences a cultural attraction in the heart of Wiesbaden. The associated association "Theater im Pariser Hof e.V." reopened the venue at Spiegelgasse 9 in May 2015 and has been steadily expanding the theater's program ever since.

In the Theater am Pariser Hof you can experience extraordinary marketing events, Christmas parties, glamorous corporate events, birthday parties and fantastic weddings.
The theater seating with 128 seats at small bistro tables can be completely removed. With banquet seating, 80 people are possible. Without tables and chairs, but with bar tables if necessary, up to 160 people can celebrate and dance in comfort. In addition to the theater hall, there is a foyer and a bistro for elegant receptions. The dedicated and experienced team will be happy to assist you with the organization and staging of your event.
