Free wedding ceremony on the green area
A free wedding ceremony is becoming increasingly popular with bridal couples. The bride and groom say "I do" in front of family and friends. The free wedding ceremony is held by a wedding speaker who says a few words about the bride and groom and designs a ceremony entirely according to your individual wishes.
If your wedding takes place in spring, summer or even on a warm fall day, the ceremony can be held at Jagdschloss Platte on the green area behind the house. Your guests can stand or sit at the sides. Row seating with a central aisle is ideal so that your guests have enough space. The chairs can be decorated by your chosen decorator with covers, flowers, handkerchiefs and other decorative elements to suit your personal taste. Once at the front, the wedding speaker will welcome you.

Reception
Reception in front of the entrance
After your wedding ceremony - whether in the Jagdschloss Platte itself or at another location - there is usually a reception for the guests. This can take place outside in front of or behind the building or on the first floor. Upon arrival, your guests will be greeted by the two deer sculptures surrounding the entrance. The driveway and entrance can be made even more individual and impressive, for example by displaying a red carpet or floral decorations. For the champagne reception with finger food, bar tables and parasols can be set up in the outdoor area.

After the reception, your celebrations continue with a dinner together.
This can be organized in different ways. Would you like a seated dinner with a multi-course menu or would you like to treat your guests to a buffet?
Depending on the number of people, your dinner can be arranged on the upper floor or, if required, on the first floor. You have a variety of options here:
A classic gala dinner can be held on theupper floor at round tables for up to 200 people. A very large wedding party of up to 300 people can also be arranged on the upper floor at square tables. If desired, the first floor can accommodate an additional 160 guests.
The first floor with its imposing rotunda is ideal not only for the reception, but also for the later conclusion of the event. During the guests' stay on the upper floor, a candy bar or a cake and dessert buffet can be set up here, for example.
We work with a selection of catering companies (opens in a new tab). We will be happy to recommend one of these partners that meets your needs. However, this is not a must. You can bring in your own caterer if you wish.
The Jagdschloss Platte offers enough space for a dance floor with bar area and DJ or band. Here, too, you are free to decide where and how this situation should look. Experience has shown that the first floor is ideal. There is enough space here for all areas. A lounge area, where your guests can relax and socialize at the end of the evening, can also be easily combined with this.
