The Sacred Heart Church in Biebrich was consecrated on 22 September 1898. This house of God was endowed by Miss Eugenia Kreitz and dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The church was erected as a cruciform brick church with a nave and a transept; the plans came from Mr. Meißner, an instructor at the building-trades school in Idstein. With a clear interior width of 12 metres, the arch of the vault was the widest of all one-span churches in Germany at that time. After the neo-Gothic furnishings had been removed from the church in 1955 and new windows had been installed, the neo-Gothic elements were restored as far as possible in 1990/1991. The most important religious element is the altarpiece in the chancel created by Hubert Elsässer showing the crucifixion scene. The statue Our Lady of the Grapes was created in 1960 by Anton Krams, a sculptor from Kiedrich. The Pietà in the open chapel outside at the back of the church was consecrated as a memorial to the soldiers killed in action and the victims of both World Wars.
