H. Weber designed St. Andrew's Church as a one-nave hall church in the Ottonian tradition (consecrated in 1965). The separate tower has similarities to an Italian campanile. The sacristy and the organ gallery are located in a transept-like annex, the apse is round. The baptistery, with a round, coneshaped roof is next to the glazed porch. The church is built of bricks and together with the parish centre and the rectory and a wide flight of steps, it frames an interior courtyard. The church and the annex have flat roofs with a wooden coffered ceiling which makes for good acoustics. The artistic glazing on the east and the west side by J. Jost shows the martyrdom of St. Andrew the Apostle. The seats and a statue of the Blessed Virgin in the interior date back to when the church was built; the altar, tabernacle and ambo were replaced in the 1970s. The chapel was erected on the organ gallery in the 1980s to allow smaller congregations to attend mass. The organ from the workshop of G. Mayer-Heusweiler completed the furnishings in 1974.
