Brahms-Gesellschaft

Johannes Brahms is one of the most popular composers of the 19th century. And he has a special relationship to Wiesbaden: in 1883 he spent a summer here and completed his third symphony, which he himself once called his “Wiesbadener”. Through a circle of friends he maintained close ties to Wiesbaden all of his life. The Brahms-Gesellschaft Wiesbaden Rheingau e.V. is taking up this tradition and would like to fill it with new life. The association organises concerts and lectures on the life and works of Johannes Brahms.
