23 places - 23 stories - Naurod

As the northernmost district of Wiesbaden, Naurod is charmingly situated on the edge of the Taunus.

A highlight of Naurod is the bakehouse created by local residents, also affectionately known as the Gemaa-Backes, which not only serves as the location for the annual Backesfest, but can also be rented for private parties.

As the forest lies directly in front of the village, there are many hiking and cycling trails. Here you will also find the highest elevation in Wiesbaden, the Kellerskopf at 474 meters, which has been home to the 15-meter-high Kellerskopf observation tower for over a hundred years, from which you have a fantastic panoramic view over the Taunus, the Rhine-Main region and the Odenwald.
