In 1828, the half-timbered upper floor was redesigned in the Gothic style. The reliefs under the windows, which were previously made of wood, were replaced with stone copies. The reliefs are symbols of the virtues of strength, justice, charity, prudence and moderation.

The coat of arms of Wiesbaden with its three lilies is carved into the wall to the left of the door.

Today, the Old Town Hall serves as a registry office. There is a wine bar in the basement of the building. The interior of the building was modernized in 2002.
