home port in the old court

The former Hessian district court is home to a real place of the future for Wiesbaden and the whole of Hesse in historic rooms. It is a wild mix of coworking space, conference and event location, start-up hub and community in Wiesbaden.

Home port

The listed, newly renovated building was opened in 1897 as a regional and district court and has now been vacant for over 10 years.

Since the end of 2022, it has been home to 48 rental apartments and the heimathafen, which is opening a creative and start-up hub on almost 2,500 square meters. With a mix of offices, coworking space, conference and event areas and a new restaurant, the aim is to create a place of many for many. Be curious about the day bar in the former prison chamber, events in the cultural catacombs or exhibitions in the former detention cells.

Speaking of which, the Gerichtsstraße pedestrian zone is to be transformed into an attractive neighborhood square. With additional restaurants and seating, you are welcome to take a seat and linger here.
