Green spaces Warmer Damm
Due to their central location, the green spaces at Warmen Damm are a popular city park in the middle of the city. A large pond dominates the center of the 4.5-hectare "green oasis".
It provides a year-round habitat for numerous water birds. The "Warme Damm", as it is affectionately called by the people of Wiesbaden, is framed by historic town and country houses, some of which can look back on almost 200 years of history.
The "Warme Damm" is bordered to the north by the Schiller monument. The grounds themselves contain modern art objects as well as a monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I and historical fragments of a Roman temple. The "Warme Damm" owes its name to a system of ponds that once existed, some of whose pools were fed with thermal water.
