International event planners meet at the RMCC for the second "Nextlive.festival"

After a successful premiere in 2023, the "Nextlive.festival" will return to the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in Wiesbaden on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

The business festival is the meeting place for event professionals and marketing decision-makers, who can look forward to inspiration, knowledge transfer on current topics and numerous networking opportunities. In addition, the festival offers the chance to get to know the RheinMain CongressCenter and Wiesbaden as a potential venue for your own events.

The idea for the "Nextlive.festival", which is organized by the marketing and event platform Nextlive in cooperation with Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH (WICM), was born back in February 2021 as part of the "Summit of the Event Industry" at the RMCC.

After its premiere last year, the festival is expanding and now occupies the entire South Hall with an expanded concept - around 3,000 square meters of event space. A total of around 300 participants are expected.

The WICM team will be accompanying the event and will have a presence on site to inform potential customers about the location, the RMCC and its use for various business formats. WICM will also be presenting its new congress promotion, a program for sustainable mobility that provides free public transport tickets for event participants to travel to the RMCC.

A Scientific Advisory Board, which has already been convened, will also be presented as part of the "Nextlive.festival". The members of this committee are Prof. Cornelia Zanger - Chemnitz University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Dirk Hagen - Hanover University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kim Werner - Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Stefan Luppold - Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, Dr. Steffen Ronft - srh University of Applied Science and Prof. Dr. Matthias Johannes Bauer - IST Hochschule für Management. The advisory board will identify and jointly promote relevant topics in the event and marketing industry, taking a holistic approach and linking science with various stakeholder groups from the field. The findings will then be discussed once a year at the "Nextlive.festival". The collaboration between Nextlive and event researchers, who will be included in the event concept in future, will have a positive impact on Wiesbaden as a location factor.
