The Kurhaus

Accessibility

Accessibility at Kurhaus Wiesbaden is very important to us. We offer all visitors free access to all public areas in our hotel.

Inclusion in social life requires access without barriers and obstacles for all people - with or without disabilities. The Kurhaus Wiesbaden has set itself the goal of implementing this basic right as far as possible within the framework of monument protection.

Wiesbaden Kurhaus

Access to the Kurhaus Wiesbaden is possible from the Bowling Green (main entrance) and the Kurpark (rear entrance). Both entrances lead into the publicly accessible foyer and can be reached via a side door or a ramp. If necessary, assistance can be requested from the Kurhaus information desk via a bell at the side door at the main entrance. All event rooms are at ground level on the first floor. Only the tier of the Friedrich-von-Thiersch-Saal is only accessible via a staircase; unfortunately, it is not possible to install a passenger elevator here due to the listed building status. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the first floor. An induction loop is available in the Friedrich-von-Thiersch-Saal for hearing-impaired visitors with hearing aids, enabling them to follow the action on stage acoustically. The prerequisite for use is a seat in the stalls.

The "Kurhaus" parking garage under the bowling green in front of the Kurhaus offers direct access to the Kurhaus thanks to an elevator from the 1st basement level. There are 20 disabled parking spaces available in the parking garage.

The Kurhaus information desk in the foyer is staffed 24 hours a day. Should you require assistance, the staff will be happy to help you (0611 / 1729-100).

Colonnade

The Kurhaus Kolonnade is accessible without steps via a disabled ramp at the front. All event rooms are barrier-free. Wheelchair-accessible, stepless sanitary facilities are also available here.

Spa Park

Wiesbaden's Kurpark, which begins directly behind the Kurhaus, was laid out in the style of an English landscape garden. Depending on the season, the scent and the sea of colors of the magnolias, azaleas and rhododendrons are enchanting. All parts of the spa gardens are barrier-free, with numerous benches inviting visitors to linger and relax. This means that people with limited mobility can also enjoy the spa park. The sanitary facilities in the spa park are also wheelchair-accessible and stepless.

If you have any questions or requests regarding accessibility on site or before booking, we will be happy to help you.
