Rooms for balls and festive occasions

The Kurhaus Wiesbaden - the place for balls and festive occasions in the Rhine-Main region.

Guests sit at the table in the Kurhaus Wiesbaden

Magnificent halls, high ceilings, magnificent chandeliers and fine decorations create a festive and elegant atmosphere in the landmark of the city of Wiesbaden. The Kurhaus Wiesbaden is an architectural masterpiece in the neoclassical style and has a long history. This historical significance gives events in the Kurhaus a special touch and an air of tradition and prestige. The excellent acoustics of the Kurhaus are a great advantage, especially for galas and balls with musical performances.

Halls and lounges for special moments

The large Friedrich von Thiersch Hall (opens in a new tab) is the heart of the hotel and is surrounded by many smaller, no less impressive halls. With a capacity of up to 790 people in gala seating, the hall is perfect for large balls and festive gala evenings. The magnificent painted ceiling and elaborate decorations create an incomparable atmosphere that makes every occasion an unforgettable experience.

For smaller, more intimate occasions, the smaller halls and salons - the Christian Zais Hall (opens in a new tab), the Winter Garden (opens in a new tab), the Salon Ferdinand Hey'l (opens in a new tab), the Shell Hall (opens in a new tab) and the Fyodor Dostoyevsky Hall (opens in a new tab) - provide an enchanting backdrop. These can be booked separately or can be used by event organizers as catering stations, lounge corners, exhibitions and retreats, while the main hall, especially for balls, focuses on dining accompanied by dancing and music.

Magnificent backdrop for the wine ball

The Wine Ball is a particularly beautiful example of why the Kurhaus Wiesbaden is the perfect venue for festive and prestigious events.

The forecourt of the Kurhaus, which adjoins the spacious bowling green (opens in a new tab) with two cascading fountains, is the grand entrance when guests arrive in front of the building. This particularly festive backdrop was used for the Wine Ball. The guests were driven up in chic limousines and lingered briefly for the first photos on the forecourt before entering the Kurhaus via the red carpet.

In the foyer (opens in a new tab), more photos were taken in front of a photo wall and the first drink was served. The strolling guests had the opportunity to stroll through the numerous halls and take advantage of the various offers there. The guests could once again look forward to great wines from the VDP.Prädikatsweingüter, the best delicacies from selected top chefs and the best entertainment. At the same time, the seated dinner took place in the Friedrich-von-Thiersch-Saal at festively laid tables on the parquet floor and in the tiers. After dinner, the ballroom doors were opened so that all ball guests could continue celebrating together.
