Grand ceremony "175 years of education in the name of Fresenius" at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden
The Carl Remigius Fresenius Education Group celebrated 175 years of education in the name of Fresenius with a ceremony. Around 700 invited guests from politics, education, business and the media accepted the invitation to the Kurhaus in Wiesbaden.
From the history to the present and the future of the education group - the stage program offered guests a multimedia journey through time. In May 1848, Carl Remigius Fresenius laid the foundation stone for the company in Wiesbaden, which today has grown into an internationally active education group with universities of applied sciences, vocational schools and private universities at 63 locations.
A special highlight of the stage show in the Friedrich-von-Thiersch-Saal (opens in a new tab): with the help of modern technology, the founding father was brought on stage as a hologram from the past. In a dialog between him and his great-great-grandson Ludwig Fresenius, both agreed to preserve the Friesian family heritage and develop it in a future-oriented way.

To mark the 175th anniversary of the Fresenius Education Group on May 31, the 16 best students from the AMD Academy of Fashion & Design presented their final collections at a fashion show in the Kurhaus Kolonnaden - in the Hygieia Gallery (opens in a new tab).
