Ventilation system in the Kurhaus
The air volume of the event rooms, which are supplied by the two ventilation systems with a total maximum air capacity of 130,000.00 m³/h, amounts to a total of 26,386.89 m³. For the Friedrich-von-Thiersch-Saal, for example, with its room volume of 11,016.00 m³, this results in a purely mathematical air exchange rate of 4.92 times per hour.
The arrangement of the supply air in the parquet to the side in the wood paneling and below the tier results in a horizontal distribution of the air in the hall, which is discharged via the exhaust air in the stucco ceiling. The two ventilation systems are frequency-controlled, run in parallel and are 100% pure supply and exhaust air systems.
Entrance and exit

The foyer of the Kurhaus offers a spacious admission area for distance-compliant registration of your participants.

On request, we can provide you with registration counters with sufficient social distancing and a Plexiglas device. Participant-related contact details can be recorded at the registration counters.
- It is also possible to have recognized Corona rapid tests carried out for participants by medically trained staff on the premises of the Kurhaus. On request, the Kurhaus team can arrange a local service provider.
Movement of participants within the building
- We use floor markings as well as room and aisle partitions for controlled visitor guidance using tensors or similar.
- Our signage guides visitors into the event room in a targeted manner and with sufficient distance.
Hygiene precautions
- Disinfectant is available in the event rooms, in all public areas and in the sanitary facilities.
- Our rooms, surfaces and sanitary facilities as well as equipment and furniture are cleaned more frequently.
- Notices and signage throughout the building will draw attention to hygiene guidelines and behavioral recommendations, and protective measures will be visibly communicated.
- Sanitary facilities are adapted so that the necessary minimum distance can be maintained.
Event implementation / digital formats
- New seating plans enable compliance with the requirements and reduce the density of people to minimize the risk of contact.
- Safety announcements are possible (e.g. during breaks; for exit control; in critical situations).
- We offer the option of combining on-site conference technology, e.g. microphone units, interpreting booths or digital presentation technology, with a virtual online conference. A wide variety of online events can be realized (e.g. simple online conferences, complex streaming shows, interactive LIVE TV broadcasts).

Catering
Our exclusive caterer, BENNER's Bistronomie & Catering, has also adapted its concepts to the current conditions. For example, breaks can be held in the foyer and adjoining rooms with the necessary distancing rules.

With us, you don't have to do without a prior tour of the building. With our virtual room planning tool, you can take a virtual tour of all the Kurhaus event rooms and view the relevant room information - you are also welcome to hold an online meeting with us!

Individual advice
Please note that your event is subject to the regulations and framework conditions of the authorities valid on the date of the event. We will discuss the room planning for your event with you individually, taking all aspects into account, and will do our best to implement your ideas and wishes as well as possible.
In the event that you have signed an event contract but the event is canceled by you, the following applies:
Any cancellation fee incurred under this contract or the GTC that has become an integral part of the contract will be refunded by the lessor if the event cannot take place due to an ordinance or general decree issued in connection with the Corona pandemic.
