Wiesbaden Casino is one of the oldest in Germany. Crowned heads, musicians, literary figures - they all came to Wiesbaden to try their luck here. One of them was the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, who gambled away all his money here in 1865. He masterfully describes the event in his novel "The Gambler".
