Casino Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden Casino is one of the oldest in Germany. Crowned heads, musicians, literary figures - they all came to Wiesbaden to try their luck here. One of them was the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, who gambled away all his money here in 1865. He masterfully describes the event in his novel "The Gambler". The roulette wheel on which Dostoyevsky was feverishly waiting to "faites vos jeux" can still be seen today.

The casino has undergone numerous changes over the course of its history. Today it resides in the former wine hall of the Kurhaus, a cherry wood-paneled room decorated with magnificent medallions. In addition to roulette and American roulette, roulette, blackjack and poker are played. In cooperation with the Kurhaus team and the restaurant, the casino also offers incentives for companies, such as "Club Roulette" with a separate gaming table and croupier.

The slot machine game ("Kleines Spiel"), which was redesigned in 2001, is located in the Kurhaus colonnade. Here, visitors can choose from around 220 slot machines.
