Nina Cordt - Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH
Head of City and Tourism Marketing / Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH
"For me, Wiesbaden is diverse and lively, but also very relaxed! The unique attitude to life can be felt everywhere here and invites you to discover it. This makes our conference participants and business travelers want to come back."
The needs and behavior of guests have changed fundamentally as a result of the pandemic, and Wiesbaden is now adapting its tourism offering accordingly. The "Tourism Strategy 2026+" in Wiesbaden focuses on a reorientation of tourism. Topics such as living space, sustainability and digitalization play a major role in this. The city is working closely with local municipalities and businesses. The city works closely with local communities and manufacturers, whose products are now very well represented in the T-Info (opens in a new tab) on the marketplace and are available for purchase.
A new brand family has also been established. In future, Wiesbaden and the Rheingau would like to appear on the market together under the destination name "Wiesbaden Rheingau", but also retain their independence to a certain extent. For event organizers, this means that communication channels will be shorter and there will be a much broader range of supporting programs for event participants.
"The heimathafen has always been a very special place for me in Wiesbaden. I like the colorful mix of people who come together here. Inspiration, encounters and a sense of well-being. I love sitting on the sofa in the café, where you have a wonderful overview and can watch.... Since I've been working at heimathafen, I like being in the conference room upstairs, I particularly like the atmosphere here, I can work in peace or be creative in a team!"
New life in the Old Court: 2,500 square meters of space for the future - this is the new vision for the former Hessian District Court in the heart of Wiesbaden: A hub for creativity, entrepreneurial spirit & social innovation. A public café, coworking & offices for creatives & founders, conference and event rooms as well as a laboratory for social innovation - a place #FromManyForMany is being created here. The renovation is in full swing and the opening is planned for the end of 2022.

Selma Adan and Katharina Schenk - Freudenberg Castle
Head of seminar area / Freudenberg Castle
"What is special is that she sees the seminar area as a plant nursery. It is sown, tended and harvested."
"Visitors leave Freudenberg Castle feeling stronger. With the certainty that the strength lies within me."
At Schloss Freudenberg, you find yourself in the middle of a total work of art, a field of experience for the development of the senses and the mind. A non-profit association with a handful of artists was founded here 30 years ago: the Society for Nature and Art. The aim was to bring the completely run-down castle and the overgrown, enchanted castle park back to life and to create stations and works of art that give visitors aged between 3 and 103 the opportunity to discover, encourage, appreciate and observe perception with their senses.
The castle also has a lot to offer event organizers. Whether film shoots, exhibitions or conferences - contact the castle team and they will find a solution for you.
"I particularly like the versatility of the collections and exhibitions with their wealth of content from nature and art. The aesthetic presentation of the exhibition spaces is an experience for the senses and the visit regularly inspires creativity anew. In addition to exciting cultural offerings, the city of Wiesbaden with its parks and historical flair is a great place to live for me."
The Museum Wiesbaden is located directly opposite the RMCC. Organizers who have booked an event in Wiesbaden and would like to offer their event participants the Congress Museum Ticket can benefit from this unbeatable proximity. With this ticket, visitors receive free admission to the Wiesbaden Museum from the day before the event until the day after the event.
In addition to the numerous exhibitions, the Museum Wiesbaden also offers an exclusive and extraordinary setting for your event. A variety of rooms are available for your event: The large lecture hall with boxes and gallery offers space for 262 guests. In addition, the rooms in the cafeteria, the Old Library or the Small Corner Room can be rented for smaller events, workshops, seminars or celebrations.
