2024 Letter from Wiesbaden

‘We love culture’ is the slogan published this year by the new partner network, which aims to strengthen Wiesbaden as a city of art and culture under the leadership of Congress & Marketing. Culture once again plays a major role in the Wiesbaden Letter 2024, which is published by the Friends of the Wiesbaden Foundation and on whose behalf Ingeborg Salm-Boost takes a traditional and individual look at the Hessian state capital.

There is no question that the opening of the Reinhard Ernst Museum was an event of great significance for the municipality. More than 80,000 people have already visited the house of abstract art since June. But the awarding of this year's city culture prize to the Singakademie of the Martin Luther Church, for example, is also worth mentioning, as the organisation is highly successful in making music with children and young people at a high level. 

The focus is also on such pleasing offers as the XXL ice rink in front of the Kurhaus, a project of Sporthilfe, which is known far beyond Wiesbaden, or the popular water fountains, which were very well received for the first time this summer on Luisenplatz.

A selection of the diverse activities of the community foundation can of course also be found in the Wiesbadener Brief. If you would like to read it in print, you can find it at the Kurhaus, in the museums or at the Tourist Information Centre. The publication, which is also available in English translation, is also available in hotels.

And last but not least, the Wiesbadener Brief will once again be sent around the world before Christmas, allowing friends of Wiesbaden all over the world to take part in events in the Hessian state capital.
