Anyone standing today in Hochstättenstraße will have difficulty imagining that behind the façade there is a Wilhelminian varieté theatre. The building was already referred to by contemporaries as a "palace".

The Walhalla can commemorate its 110th anniversary in 2007.

It was recently purchased by the city of Wiesbaden and plans call for it to contribute once again to the life of the historical district.
