Hotel Grüner Wald

The house with the sandstone facade in Marktstraße is visibly an example of neo-Baroque. Since the 16th century, on the same site, a stately guesthouse stood with the name Grüner Wald. In 1899/1900, the architect Wilhelm Rehbold reconstructed the building as the Hotel Grüner Wald. Today, the regular division of the identically large balconies testify to the building's former function as a hotel. Between 1995 and 1997 the building was renovated and has been used since as a residential and commercial building.
