Bierstadter Straße 14
The structure at Bierstadter Straße 14 is a palatial villa which the architect Alfred Schellenberg had built between 1876 and 1878 in the style of strict Historicism. The main facade faces west towards Rosenstraße. Schellenberg rejected the common symmetry of Classicism and romantic Historicism and instead moved the villa's loggia to one side, towards the South. He oriented the profiling discretely towards the Italian High Renaissance.
Since 1975, the villa at Bierstadter Straße 14 has been home to the Dr. Obermayr private school; only a few of the rooms still have their original interiors.
